The price of bitcoin, a leading cryptocurrency player, surpassed $60,000 and KRW 68 million for the first time in history on the 13th local time.
The bitcoin price hit $60,000 at 11:49 a.m. on the same day and then fell below $60,000, according to AFP.
Bitcoin prices rebounded from the beginning of this month, which fell sharply due to the negative evaluation of US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen after recording $50,000 on the 16th of last month.
