The participants agreed on proposals to overcome the main challenges that affect the role of the family counselor with family cases, related to his scientific and professional capabilities, the number of cases he receives and deals with daily, which exceeds 10 cases, and the prescribed period for dealing with each problem.

According to the discussion, one of the proposals was to develop the body and the position of the family counselor, by raising the status of the profession with people who are scientifically and socially qualified, and allocating workplaces suitable for their tasks, especially since many people underestimate the family counselor because of the place from which he works, while another proposal touched on not limiting The role of the family counselor in reconciliation between spouses only, and the expansion of his powers and his societal role.

The participants also agreed on the necessity of creating a specialized diploma in family guidance that includes psychological, social, educational, family and religious aspects.
