Rostock (dpa / mv) - 169 new corona infections were registered in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on Saturday.
That is 4 more than on Friday, as the State Office for Health and Social Affairs announced.
The seven-day incidence rose to 61.5.
On Friday, 58.8 cases per 100,000 population were reported within seven days.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 26,697 people in the northeast have been shown to have contracted the corona virus.
The number of registered deaths related to the virus rose by 2 to 806. 23,625 people are considered to have recovered.
The number of corona patients treated in clinics was 216 on Saturday, 9 less than the day before.
Of these, 43 remained in an intensive care unit.
The districts of Northwest Mecklenburg with 96.0 and Western Pomerania-Greifswald with 84.9 have the highest incidence values.
The lowest values are found in Rostock with 22.9, Mecklenburg Lake District (39.5) and Western Pomerania-Rügen (39.6).
