▲ Citizens of Yangon, Myanmar, who broke the curfew on the night of the 8th and came to the streets

Two people were killed by police shooting at dawn in Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, Reuters reported today (13th), citing local media.

Local media DVB said the deaths were fired by police against citizens demanding the release of those detained in front of the Yangon Taketta District police station earlier this morning.

Recently, in major cities such as Yangon, military and policemen have often arrested protesters condemning coups while traveling around residential areas at night.

Accordingly, scenes of citizens ignoring the curfew, which begins at 8 pm, come out to the streets and protests calling for a ban on late-night arrests by the military and police are also frequently captured by cameras.

Military and police have fired indiscriminately against protesters protesting the Myanmar military's coup, and more than 70 people have been counted to have died until yesterday.
