Bad Endorf (dpa / lby) - A woman was run over by her own car on Friday.

The 50-year-old from Bad Endorf (Rosenheim district) was taken to hospital with serious injuries, the police said.

Apparently she had forgotten to put the car in gear and put the handbrake on when parking.

So the car started moving by itself in the sloping property entrance.

The driver tried to stop the car.

She was trapped, dragged along by the vehicle and rolled over.

Only in a creek bed did the carriage come to rest.

The woman was still able to free herself, a neighbor called the ambulance.

The car had to be recovered with a crane.
