Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The seven-day incidence in the southwest has risen again.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week was 69.1 on Friday (as of 4:00 p.m.), as announced by the State Health Office in Stuttgart.

The previous day the value was 66.1.

Compared to Thursday, the authority reported 1,519 new infections in the southwest, and there were also 29 new deaths with or from the corona virus.

The increasing number of infections is also evident in the circles.

The district of Schwäbisch Hall with a seven-day incidence of 216 is now well above the threshold of 200. Seven other districts have an incidence between 100 and 200.

Half of the 44 counties in the country have an incidence between 50 and 100.

Around 86 percent of the 2462 operable intensive care beds in the country are occupied.

According to the Divi Intensive Care Register, 239 people are being treated in intensive care, 129 of them have to be civil servants.

The number of first vaccinations against the coronavirus rose (as of Thursday, 11.55 p.m.) by 24,713, the number of second vaccinations by 9,774. This means that 789,622 people have now received a first vaccination, and 359,575 people have already received both vaccinations.
