The UAE announced the creation of a $ 10 billion investment fund in Israel that aims to invest in sectors it described as strategic, including energy, manufacturing, water, space, healthcare, and agricultural technology.

The Emirates News Agency said that the announcement of the establishment of the fund followed a phone call between Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which they discussed the progress of bilateral relations in light of the peace treaty signed between the two countries.

The agency added that the fund will focus on development initiatives and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, and will be funded from government allocations and private sector institutions.
