"World Health" authorizes the use of the Johnson vaccine against "Corona"

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, announced that the organization has approved the emergency use of the "Johnson & Johnson" vaccine against the "Corona" virus.

Tedros said during a press conference held at the organization’s headquarters this evening in Geneva that the single dose vaccine will be the fourth one to obtain the approval of the organization and will be distributed through the "Kovacs" mechanism.

He explained that the data available from the producing company showed that the vaccine is effective for older age groups, indicating that the approval was made according to a brief evaluation system and based on the approval of the European Medicines Agency to use the vaccine.

The organization stated that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine requires easy storage conditions as it can be stored at a temperature between 2-8 Celsius with a long shelf life of up to two years.
