Green light from the Chamber of the Chamber to the establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the death of David Rossi.
The votes in favor are 303, only 1 against.
Being a document and not a bill and being a single-chamber commission, the commission is established without any passage in the other branch of Parliament.
David Rossi was found dead on March 6, 2013, after falling from a window of his office in the headquarters of the Rocca Salimbeni bank.
Rossi, who was not under investigation as part of the investigation into MPS, had undergone a search of his home and office by the finance police about ten days before his death.
Eight years later, there are still doubts about his death, in particular that it was a suicide, despite the filing of the open investigations on the matter.
And the commission of inquiry intends to give answers to these doubts.
Indeed, the tasks of the single-chamber body include the verification of "facts, acts and conduct of commission and omissions that have caused or cause obstacles, delays or difficulties for the judicial assessment of any responsibility relating to the death of David Rossi".
