Who wants to grow potatoes and leeks on the outskirts of Bordeaux?

The City of Bordeaux is looking for a market gardener ready to set up in organic or equivalent agriculture (permaculture, agroecology, biodynamics) on a cultivable land of four hectares in Haillan, near Bordeaux.

It is in fact the old municipal nursery which "presents a great ecological quality, according to the city and which is equipped with a" borehole to ensure the irrigation of crops.

It has just launched a call for expressions of interest (AMI) to offer these


lands for rental via an agricultural lease for a period of nine years, with environmental clauses.

Applicants have until May 31, 2021 to submit their application to SAFER.

Several field trips will be organized for interested growers on March 26, April 30 and May 17.

The project leader will be supported by a technical team made up of the Green Spaces Department and elected officials


of the city of Bordeaux, to complete its installation.
