Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The volleyball players from SSC Palmberg Schwerin suffered a clear defeat in the battle for third place in the main Bundesliga round.
On Thursday evening, the DVV Cup winner lost to Dresdner SC in his penultimate game with 0: 3 (22: 25,21: 25,12: 25) and has to win at Allianz MTV Stuttgart on Saturday to get SC Potsdam from third place displace.
In the meantime, the SSC had led clearly in the first set and also gained a clear lead at the beginning of the second round.
However, neither was enough to defeat the guests.
