Brazil
has exceeded the number of 2,000 deaths in 24 hours from Covid-19 for the first time, while the second wave of infections in the country continues to grow, marked by the collapse of the health system in several medium-sized cities.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported that 2,286 deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours.
The previous record was set on Tuesday with 1,954 deaths.
The
United States
is approaching the threshold of 30 million infected by Covid: the United States yesterday reached 29,149,380 confirmed cases and 529,067 deaths.
This is what emerges from the latest data released by Johns Hopkins University, which records 1,455 more deaths than Tuesday and 57,075 new infections.
In
Germany,
another 14,356 coronavirus cases and 321 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
