Altötting (dpa / lby) - After a serious traffic accident, Autobahn 94 in the direction of Munich was closed on Thursday morning.
"It is not safe, but it was probably a wrong-way driver accident," said a spokesman for the highway police.
A total of two cars and a truck were involved in the accident.
It still has to be checked whether a wrong-way driver was actually on the road.
According to initial information, several people were injured, some seriously, in the accident.
Since the rescue measures are still ongoing, the lockdown should continue for several hours, according to the information.
