The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has traveled to Murcia today to hold a political act in the street and denounce what he considers to be a 'betrayal' by Citizens, presenting the motion of censure, "which he wants to take in his arms to this land of corrupt socialism. "
Abascal was forceful: "Whoever votes Ciudadanos has to know that they vote for Pedro Sánchez and Pablo Iglesias.
He also accused the PP of committing an act of "irresponsibility" for not calling elections in Murcia, understanding that he knew in advance that this political movement of Ciudaanos and POSE was going to take place.
"He had to give a voice to Murcia. He had to have summoned you" to decide with your vote, "said Abascal before an important group of supporters who had been in Murcia.
He compared the attitude of the PP in Murcia with that of Mariano Rajoy during Pedro Sánchez's motion of censure, "with the bag on the seat," he said.
He demanded general elections, "it is an obligation of the Government to return the vote to the citizens after a year of ruin and death."
"Due to the betrayal of some and the irresponsibility of others, this region will fall into the hands of corrupt socialism and communism.
He asked his sympathizers "to go out into the streets" and demand that their representatives "give them back their word."
Vox called the event in the cathedral square of the Murcian capital, which was filled with sympathizers of the formation.
In the last general elections, Abascal's formation was the most voted in Murcia.
