SERIELAND ENTRETIEN - The third season of the series "Les Rivières pourpres" has just started on France 2. It stages the sequel to Jean-Christophe Grangé's breathless thriller.

On the occasion of this outing, Eva Roque receives the novelist and screenwriter for a major interview.

How is writing a novel different from writing a screenplay?

Where does he get his inspiration

Les Rivières pourpres

is above all a book, released in 1998. A real literary success.

In 2000, it was adapted for the big screen by Mathieu Kassovitz with the title roles Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel.

But since 2018, this breathtaking thriller is also a series broadcast on France 2. And it is Jean-Christophe Grangé himself who signs the scenario of the fiction whose season 3 has just started.

We discover the continuation of the investigations of the commissioner Pierre Niemans, interpreted by Olivier Marchal and his assistant Camille Delaunay, camped by Erika Sainte.

Bodies sewn together, the criminal spread of the Black Death in Paris, series of murders in a dangerous prison ... The duo is faced with ever darker crimes.

Sensitive souls refrain !
