With his brace scored by Norwegian star Erling Haaland, top scorer Borussia Dortmund, against Seville in the second leg of the Champions League final;

It set several records.

He became the fastest player to reach 20 goals in the mainland competition, and the youngest player to achieve this.

Haaland's double helped Dortmund to draw 2-2 in the second leg, to qualify for the quarter-finals with a 5-4 aggregate victory over the first-leg matches.

The 20-year-old Norwegian striker is in a state of brilliance, and he needed only 14 games to reach 20 goals in the competition, which is 10 games less than the previous record of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Haaland is also more than a year younger than Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe when he reached that number just before his 22nd birthday.

Haaland has scored 10 goals in 6 Champions League matches this season.

For Dortmund, the superiority in the aggregate brought him to the last eight for the first time in 4 years, and Haaland appears eager to score more goals.

"It was a tough match, and I'm tired now, but I have great feelings about ensuring we are in the next round. It was a crazy match and we got a crazy win," Haaland said.

He added, "We knew that the opponent would play very hard, but when we scored a goal the opponent needed 3 goals. The 1-0 lead with reaching the break was a great thing, and I scored a beautiful goal."

Haaland's first goal came after following a cross from close range by Marco Reus.
