"During the conversation, various aspects of bilateral military and
military-technical cooperation, the current situation in the areas where
Russian peacekeepers are carrying out tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as
other issues of mutual interest were
touched upon
," the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said that the Russian side hopes for a speedy settlement of the situation in Armenia.
