Berlin (AP) - A man has thrown several incendiary devices over the fence on the premises of the Chinese embassy in Berlin-Mitte.
According to initial findings, the incendiary devices crashed on a wall in the embassy building on Wednesday morning, the police said.
Embassy workers put out the fire, nobody was injured.
Employees of a security company held the 42-year-old man near the embassy until the police arrested him.
According to a police spokesman, his motive was initially unclear.
The police state security responsible for political crimes has started the investigation.
