At 18.20 on Wednesday evening, the police were alerted to central Uppsala where a man is said to have been stabbed.
The man has been taken to hospital but the injury situation is unclear.

Sees no concern for the public
The crime is said to have taken place outdoors, but the police want to clarify that they do not see any concern for the public after the events in Vetlanda.
