Potsdam (dpa / bb) - Brandenburg wants to drastically increase the number of corona vaccinations - the eleven vaccination centers have been open longer since Wednesday.
They are not only open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but also until 8 p.m., including on Saturdays.
At least until Tuesday, Brandenburg was in last place in a nationwide comparison with the proportion of first vaccinations in the population, according to figures from the Robert Koch Institute.
Since December, around 142,000 people in Brandenburg have received their first vaccination, which corresponds to a share of 5.6 percent.
When it comes to second vaccinations, the state is still within the national average with a rate of 3.1 percent.
