On January 13 this year, the Turkish Medicines and Medical Equipment Agency approved the emergency use of the new crown vaccine produced by China Kexing Company, which is currently the only new crown vaccine approved for emergency use in Turkey.
Turkey has signed two batches of new crown vaccine procurement contracts with Kexing.
Turkish Minister of Health Koja said on March 3 that according to the results of the Phase III clinical trial conducted by China Kexing Company in Turkey, the company's new crown vaccine has a protective effect of 83.5% and a 100% protection against hospitalization caused by the new crown.
