  The fourth meeting of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is being held in Beijing. Taiwan-related proposals such as "On Seizing 5G Business Opportunities and Promoting Cross-Strait Integrated Development" submitted by the Central Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference have attracted Taiwanese youth to participate in research and writing.

While reflecting the voice of Taiwan Youth and promoting the improvement of Taiwan-related work, this initiative also provides a stage for Taiwan Youth to demonstrate what they have learned.

  Zhang Bojun, member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and vice chairman of the Central Committee of the National People’s Congress, recently introduced to reporters from China News Agency that the Central Committee of the National People’s Congress has learned through exchanges with Taiwanese youths that many Taiwanese youths are not only eager to learn more about the mainland’s political system and economic and social development. The situation, and hope that there will be ways to provide advice and suggestions for the development and construction of the mainland and the development of cross-strait relations.

  It is understood that the National Revolutionary Committee of the People's Republic of China began to invite outstanding young Taiwanese to participate in Taiwan-related investigations and drafting of proposals in 2015.

Taiwanese youths and Taiwan compatriots have been invited to participate in more than 20 surveys, and more than 10 special symposiums have been held. The contents include free trade zone construction, "Belt and Road" construction, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration, new media industry development, youth innovation and entrepreneurship, and production Taiwan-related issues in major national development strategies such as the development of the sex service industry, the development of social enterprises, the development of the 5G industry, and the equal treatment of Taiwan compatriots.

In this process, from the initial participation in the survey to the later drafting and writing of proposals, Taiqing has become more and more involved.

  In 2017, after participating in the survey of “Encouraging Taiwanese Enterprises to Integrate into the Western Construction of the “Belt and Road” and Promoting Non-governmental Economic Integration across the Straits”, Wang Zheng, Chairman of the Taiwan Chinese Youth Development Federation, as the main author, drafted the “Regarding Further Promotion of Taiwan’s Youth The proposal of "Lu Fusion Development" was submitted to the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 2018.

  Huang Baixiang, who works for Everbright Financial Leasing Company, told China News Agency that in 2018, he urged the relevant departments and units of Everbright Group to form a research team, joined the survey on the theme of rural revitalization by the Central Committee of the Chinese Revolution, and participated in the writing of the "About Promoting Cross-Strait Cooperation" The proposal to jointly build a rural complex will be submitted to the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 2019.

  In 2019, Taiqing Yang Zhean, who lives in Fujian, played his expertise in the financial field and the advantages of working in the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone for many years to participate in "accelerating the integrated development of the producer service industry and Taiwan-funded enterprises" and "promoting industrial cooperation across the Taiwan Strait" District construction" research and write related proposals.

  Shen Jie, a Taiwanese lawyer who co-founded a law firm in Beijing with mainland lawyers, found problems in specific work, proposed solutions, and made suggestions for Taiwanese lawyers to integrate into the mainland's rule of law through the National Revolutionary Committee.

He told a reporter from China News Agency that as a Taiwanese lawyer, he would have an advantage in handling cases involving Taiwan.

However, there are still policy limitations for Taiwanese lawyers to practice in the mainland. He hopes to provide Taiwan lawyers with a better career development platform and contribute to the construction of the mainland's legal system.

  "It is very meaningful for young people in Taiwan to participate in these surveys." Huang Boxiang told reporters, "On the one hand, we have a deeper understanding of the mainland and can better integrate into the mainland's development environment. On the other hand, the learning and strengths of Taiwanese youth There is also more room for display. Our voice is valued and we have the opportunity to fully participate and express, and the opinions and suggestions put forward have really played a role. I feel very happy."

  Zhang Bojun stated that the political participation results of Taiwan Youth's participation in research and proposal work are "18-digit Taiwan Resident Residence Permit", "Improving Taiwan-related Insurance Business", "Facilitating Taiwan-funded Enterprise Financing", "Taiwan Teacher and Lawyer Qualification Certification", etc. Policy formulation provides a useful reference.

The Central Committee of the National Revolutionary Committee will continue to listen to the voices of Taiwanese youths and welcome more active participation of Taiwanese youths.
