Erfurt (dpa / th) - Thuringia's Environment Minister Anja Siegesmund (Greens) has spoken out in favor of a faster opening of outdoor restaurants and holiday apartments.
"We have to differentiate between inside and outside," said Siegesmund of the German press agency.
With everything that happens outside, it is possible to relax more quickly.
Therefore, from their point of view, the outdoor dining area can open again “as quickly as possible”.
"Everything that goes outside," she said.
Inside, however, the risk of infection is "significantly too high".
At the same time, Siegesmund spoke out in favor of allowing vacation offers with “very low infection possibilities with a hygiene concept in good time before Easter”.
In their opinion, this included self-catering holiday homes, campsites and caravan sites.
Such a decision cannot be made at the next federal-state consultations shortly before the start of the vacation.
It is unacceptable that such determinations have not yet been made.
"In four weeks it will be Easter: instead of making clear vacation appointments, nothing is regulated," she complained.
