The President of the National Assembly Richard Ferrand will make a report to justice after death threats to fifty deputies from all sides, we learned Tuesday from parliamentary sources.

Accompanied by photos, these threats, unclaimed and without a clear reason, were sent by email to elected officials such as André Chassaigne (PCF), Eric Ciotti (LR) or Alexis Corbière (LFI).

The LREM holder of the perch was not targeted but members of the majority were.

On behalf of the National Assembly, he will report under article 40 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Members of Parliament are regularly the target of threats, especially on social networks.
