  The results show that 45% of the respondents support the Tokyo Olympics to be held with spectators, while 48% of the respondents support holding behind closed doors.

  Regarding whether foreign audiences should be allowed in during the Tokyo Olympics, 77% of the interviewees expressed opposition, and the support rate was only 18%.

  On March 3, the five-party meeting attended by representatives of the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee, the Government of Japan and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government unanimously decided on whether overseas audiences can enter Japan to watch the Olympic Games. A decision is made at the end of March.

  Affected by the new crown epidemic, the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, originally scheduled to be held in July 2020, have been postponed to July 23 and August 24, 2021, respectively.
