Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The first early bloomers in the state have to hold their flowers tight: From Thursday on, it will be stormy in Baden-Württemberg.

A spokesman for the German Weather Service announced on Tuesday that wind speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour can be expected in the lowlands, and occasionally with gusts of 80 kilometers per hour.

According to the information, hurricane gusts can occur in the higher elevations of the Black Forest.

Although the gusts decrease a little on Friday night, the next storm low will follow on Saturday.

A general weakening is not expected until Sunday.

The low runners accompany rain showers on Thursday and Saturday.

Above 800 meters it can also snow a little in the Black Forest and on the Alb.

Friday should stay mostly dry.

Because the winds come from the Atlantic, they bring rather mild air for the time of year.

On Thursday the maximum temperatures are between 9 and 14, on Friday and Saturday around 10 degrees.
