Lotte (dpa / mv) - Hansa Rostock is again second in the table in the 3rd football league.

The team of coach Jens Härtel came on Tuesday evening in a catch-up game to a 1-0 (0-0) at KFC Uerdingen.

Pascal Breier (67th minute) scored the winning goal for Mecklenburg, whose defender Nico Neidhart saw the red card after a handball in stoppage time.

Both representatives gave each other a very tired kick in the Uerdinger's alternative stadium in Lotte.

Hansa's offensive efforts were not worth mentioning in the first half without the injured center forward John Verhoek, who was represented by Pascal Breier.

Only a header from Manuel Farrona Pulido conveyed a hint of danger in the 24th minute, but without making KFC goalkeeper Hidde Jurjus even start to sweat.

Hansa goalkeeper Markus Kolke had just as little to do as his counterpart.

The duel between the two former Bundesliga clubs didn't really get any better after the restart.

Breier should have brought Hansa into the lead after an hour, but failed free-standing against Jurjus.

Minutes later, the Swabian did better and used his fifth goal of the season to lead the guests from close range.

The sixth away win was still in danger in stoppage time.

But Kolke kept the hand penalty caused by Neidhart.
