Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - After the alleged double murder of a woman and her little daughter in Allmersbach im Tal, the accused ex-boyfriend awaits the verdict of the regional court in Stuttgart.

The 37-year-old from Mundelsheim (Ludwigsburg district) had already confessed to killing the 41-year-old and the nine-year-old girl by hitting the head and cutting the throat.

Afterwards, according to his own account, he had also tried to kill his separated wife, but this failed.

In their pleadings, both the prosecutor and the defendant's defense lawyer assumed life imprisonment for two murders.

The main question is whether the Chamber will decide today (12:00 p.m.) on a particular gravity of the guilt.

Then the alleged perpetrator would have to remain in custody even after the compulsory prison sentence of 15 years.

The public prosecutor and the lawyers of the co-plaintiffs pleaded for it, but the man's defense lawyer sees no particular gravity of the guilt.

According to the prosecutor, the German was disappointed with the end of the relationship.

He blamed the woman's daughter for the failure.

From the point of view of the defender, however, the 37-year-old had concluded the relationship.
