In a letter addressed to the White House, aviation professionals call on the government to draw up a roadmap common to all states and ask for the establishment of a Covid-19 health certificate.
The World Health Organization and American Civil Aviation are working closely together to identify the information necessary for this temporary travel document, which is not a medical file but which would make it possible to inform companies about the state of health of the passengers. travelers, so check testing and vaccination.
However, industry players specify that this document should not make vaccination compulsory.
This request follows a statement from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which asks Americans vaccinated against Covid-19 to avoid traveling anyway, because despite wearing the compulsory mask and the restrictions introduced by the American administration, the increase in traffic leads to an increase in contamination.
The Israeli company El Al has already taken the plunge.
This Monday, March 8, during a flight all the passengers had to prove their state of health by undergoing an antigen test if they were not vaccinated or cured of Covid-19.
