Aries (dpa / lsw) - A 36-year-old man died in an accident on Autobahn 81 near Widdern (Heilbronn district).
On Monday evening, he drove his car off the road in a long left curve, presumably at excessive speed, the police said.
The car crashed into an embankment and the guardrail, lifted off and flew about 80 meters through the air.
The car was so destroyed by the accident that individual parts were found 400 meters away.
The man died at the scene of the accident.
