Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - The health authorities in Saarland have registered 113 new corona infections within one day.
As the Ministry of Health announced, the seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, is now 59.2 nationwide.
The district of Neunkirchen had the highest incidence with a value of 83.8.
The number of deaths in connection with the coronavirus rose by 8 to 915 on Tuesday. A total of 29 665 infections have been registered across the Saarland so far (as of Tuesday, 4 p.m.).
According to the ministry, 1,184 people are currently demonstrably infected with Sars-CoV-2.
122 of them are being treated in hospitals, 39 of them in intensive care units.
