The Iraqi Army's Security Media Cell said that eight people were wounded, Monday evening, as a result of a grenade explosion near Al-Imam Bridge, north of the capital, Baghdad.
Al-Jazeera correspondent said that an explosion occurred on the Imams Bridge, north of Baghdad, and targeted visitors heading to the shrine of Imam al-Kadhim.

Iraqis on social media published videos showing the first moments after the bombing, which occurred Monday evening, in the Al-Kadhimiya neighborhood in Baghdad.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing.
