Ever since the model was introduced in 2006, the Italian-built Model 32 has been criticized, not least by the drivers.

"The driver's seat is exposed to vibrations but also shaking, jerks and blows due to the wheels not being on a swivel boogey ...", the Swedish Work Environment Authority states in an injunction with a fine dated 1 March.

Gothenburg Tramways are required for SEK 50,000 if the vibration measurements do not start immediately.

 - Actually, this should have been done before 1 July 2007, I have not received a good answer as to why this has not been done before, says safety representative Johan Kanmert, whose colleague on 5 November announced a suspension of protection for the model, but without being heard.

The measurements will now run until 31 May

"It shakes people"

You've been driving the car since 2006, so it can not be that bad?

 - You can see that, but the work environment is not just about staying alive, but you should not get back pain, shoulders, arms, you should not get pain in the legs and everything that people get.

A driver has even suffered a hip fracture in connection with her driving the tram, says Johan Kamnert.

 - This tram model has been a problem just the whole time it has existed, and almost before it also existed.

We do not want it in operation, it simply shakes people.
