In the confrontation that took place on Sunday, Ajax won a penalty kick in the 74th minute of the match, which was carried out by Serbian player Dushan Tadic, but it hit the crossbar and was taken out by the Groningen defender, and the match continued afterwards.
However, after a signal from the squad referees to main arena referee Denis Hechler, he decided to return the penalty kick after the guest defender entered the penalty area of his team before the ball was fired from Tadic, the defender who removed the ball after hitting the crossbar.
In the 77th minute, Tadic returned to take the penalty kick again and scored it this time in the net, to lead his team in the score 3-0, but Anna Groeningen narrowed the difference by scoring a goal in the 84th minute, to end the match with a 3-1 victory for Ajax.

The referee’s action is an implementation of the Football Law, specifically Article 14 (penalty kick), which states that in the event that the defender violates the instructions for the execution of the penalty kick, including his entry before the kick is executed inside the penalty area, the decision is to count it as a goal if it entered the goal or to return it if it did not enter.
Also, the passage of 3 minutes is not considered as long as it is in the same situation, and in general the law states that the referee has the right to change his decision as long as he does not resume playing.
