In a chat marathon that started already at 12 on Sunday and lasts 24 hours ahead, the Women's Shelter in Umeå invites its fellow sisters to chat about both big and small.
20 on-call women will sit in shifts in pairs of two and answer the chat.
- We have this chat because many are isolated in their homes due to the pandemic and it can be difficult to find someone to talk to.
Many are afraid in their relationship and we want to offer an opportunity that makes it easier to get in touch, says Emma who is an on-call woman at the Women's Shelter in Umeå.
