Paderborn (dpa / lnw) - According to testimonies in the Lügde investigative committee in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament, the Paderborn public prosecutor has initiated investigations against an employee of the Höxter district youth welfare office.

The public prosecutor announced this on Monday in Paderborn.

According to the announcement, this is about the initial suspicion of the suppression of documents.

According to witness statements, the employee is said to have changed a file afterwards.

The files requested by the youth welfare office are in Paderborn and it is being investigated, the authority said.

Chief Public Prosecutor Marco Wibbe does not expect a result until the end of April at the earliest.

The Höxter district youth welfare office was responsible for a girl who was sexually abused on the campsite in Lügde.
