Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences announced its cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority to provide "Covid-19" vaccine campaigns, through the "mobile clinics" initiative, launched by the university as part of its endeavors to support society, and affirming its commitment to providing advanced health care services and providing the elements. Which guarantees the community's health and safety at all times, especially in the face of the Coronavirus, as part of the Dubai government's strategy on tackling the "Covid-19" pandemic, and providing the vaccine to the widest possible segment of adults who are eligible to receive the vaccine from the emirate's population, within the approved standards.

Two mobile clinics affiliated with the initiative began to provide doses of "Covid-19" vaccines approved by the Dubai Health Authority. The clinics are equipped with 11 vaccination points, 11 nurses and a doctor from Dubai Health, as well as a team of university employees.

The initiative started its first activities in the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dubai Ports World, Oilfield Processing Center Limited, SRG Holding Sheraton Grand, Al Garhoud Private Hospital, American Hospital, and McDermott Middle East Company. The initiative continues its activities in several other regions. In less than a month, the number of vaccination services provided by the mobile clinics reached 7,688 people.

The initiative is considered the first of its kind in Dubai, to facilitate the delivery of vaccines through mobile clinics equipped with a team of volunteer health care professionals, with the aim of serving the community and enhancing the access of its members to health care services in various parts of the emirate.

Al-Zarouni pointed out that the "mobile clinic" is the first charitable medical clinic of its kind with the support of the community, and it received a large amount of this support through generous donations from several institutions in the country.
