Paderborn (dpa / lnw) - The police caught two young men and two young women in an illegal car race in a parking garage in Paderborn.

The driver's licenses of the 18 and 21-year-old speeders and the two 19-year-old women and four vehicles were seized, the police announced on Monday.

Cell phones, video material and tripods for camera equipment were also confiscated.

Apparently the adolescents had filmed their dangerous frenzy.

In addition, an access barrier was damaged, the officials found.

On Sunday afternoon, when they arrived in the parking garage, they discovered “fresh traces of drift and abrasion” on the floor and heard “drifting noises and screeching tires”.

In addition to the four vehicle drivers who are being investigated for illegal car racing, two co-drivers (19 and 22) who can be assigned to the tuning scene were found on the top parking deck.

A 19-year-old from Paderborn is being investigated because of the damage to the barrier.
