Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The corona restrictions in Baden-Württemberg will be partially relaxed this Monday.

For example, in circles with an incidence of less than 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants, up to five people from two households will be able to meet again in the future, according to the updated Corona ordinance published over the weekend.

Children up to 14 years are not included.

Couples who do not live together count as one household.

The trade in the south-west should also benefit from several easing measures under hygiene requirements.

For example, DIY stores that were previously only allowed to open their garden departments are allowed to sell their entire range again, and bookshops are also opening.

Many other retailers who were previously not allowed to open their stores can now at least again offer their customers purchases by appointment (Click & Meet) at regional incidences below the 100 mark.

Museums, galleries, memorials and zoological and botanical gardens may also reopen under certain conditions, as may cosmetics, nail, massage, tattoo and piercing studios as well as libraries and libraries.

Further openings and loosening are possible and tied to the infection process in the respective city or district.

Circles that have been below an incidence of 50 for five or more days can even open all retail stores as early as the beginning of the week.

If the respective health department announces the incidence, openings will be possible “from tomorrow”, the responsible state social ministry announced on Sunday on request.

Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) had justified the easing mainly with the advancing vaccination campaign and the wider range of rapid tests in the country.

At the same time, he announced that he would again take strict action if the number of cases rose.

If the regional incidence rises to over 100 on several consecutive days, most of the relaxation measures are withdrawn.
