Altenberge (dpa / lnw) - The trailer of a truck caught fire in Altenberge in the Steinfurt district.
Spray cans that were transported in the trailer exploded in the flames early Monday morning, the police said.
Nobody was injured.
According to the police, a tire had previously burst on the truck.
The driver managed to drive his truck from the main road to a parking lot and uncouple the trailer.
Presumably as a result of the heat development on the axle, the trailer started to burn.
The police initially did not provide any information on the amount of damage.
