“On March 7 at 19:31 the first simulator of a fuel assembly (FA) was loaded into the reactor vessel of the second power unit of the BelNPP.
A total of 163 will be downloaded, ”the statement says.
As the agency specifies, simulators of fuel assemblies are an exact copy of fuel assemblies, completely repeating their design.
They are used instead of standard fuel assemblies during the commissioning period to check the reactor facility for compliance with design characteristics and safety requirements.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Belarus assessed the resolution of the European Parliament on the Belarusian NPP.
