Defending champion Liverpool continued their series of defeats and lost a goal without response at home at Anfield to relegation-threatening Fulham, in the 27th round of the English Premier League.

Mario Lemena scored the winning goal for Fulham in the 45th minute, and Liverpool failed to compensate throughout the second half.

The victory raised Fulham's balance to 26 points, but is still in 18th place behind Brighton by goal difference, while Liverpool's balance stagnated at 43 points in seventh place, continuing to move away from the Champions League semi-finals.

The collapse of Liverpool, who failed to achieve any victory in 8 consecutive matches in the

Premier League, continued, losing 6 matches and tied in two games.

The Reds also suffered a sixth consecutive defeat at Anfield for the first time in their Premier League history, their ninth loss this season in the championship that holds their title, after having maintained their unbeaten record in 68 previous games at Anfield.
