Hamburg (dpa) - Because of a filmed Corona operation with a patrol car in Hamburg's Jenischpark, which was filmed and posted on the Internet, several advertisements were placed with the police and the public prosecutor.

"There have been reports from people who saw the video," said Sandra Levgrün, head of the police press office, on Sunday at the German Press Agency in Hamburg.

For example, a complaint was filed on charges of attempted manslaughter.

"The suspicion of coercion is technically correct," Levgrün clarified in the context.

And even without the reports, the department for internal investigations has already taken over the case.

Witnesses and colleagues are now to be questioned.

Several media had previously reported.

The background is a police operation in Hamburg's Jenischpark at the end of February.

Several young people met there without any distance and drank alcohol.

A video posted by a visitor to the park on Twitter shows a patrol car with a siren and flashing lights driving after a fleeing youth.

The car initially swerves with the rear to the left and barely scrapes past two running officers.

Then it drives over a bump and appears to lose part of the sub-floor.

It also looks as if the distance between the person fleeing and the vehicle is sometimes only a few centimeters.

The colleague sitting at the wheel must now answer both criminally and - when this criminal procedure is concluded - disciplinary law because of the incident.

The latter could possibly be "the sharp sword" in this matter, which leads to a sanction, so Levgrün.

Jenischpark is considered a hotspot, in which young people who drink frequently have recently met without any distance and with loud music and also rioted.

That is why regular checks are carried out there.

According to the police, the operation at the end of February came after calls from residents and park visitors.
