Neuwied (dpa / lrs) - A person was seriously injured in a collision between two cars on Heddesdorfer Berg in Neuwied.
As the police announced, a 50-year-old ignored the right of way of an 18-year-old driver with his car.
Both vehicles collided.
The 50-year-old's car was thrown against a lamppost.
The driver was freed from his vehicle seriously injured and had to undergo emergency surgery in a hospital.
The 18-year-old was in shock.
The scene of the accident was completely closed for two hours.
