Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - The Karlsruher SC has extended the contract of defender Christoph Kobald by one year.
The 23-year-old Austrian signed a new contract with the fifth division of the 2nd Bundesliga until June 30, 2022, as the KSC announced on Sunday.
"For the current season, Christoph Kobald has fought for his regular place in central defense, is constantly developing and reliably pays back the trust week after week," said KSC sports director Oliver Kreuzer.
Kobald had switched from SC Wiener Neustadt to the Baden team for the 18/19 season.
