Essen (dpa / lnw) - The new week in North Rhine-Westphalia begins cloudy and is stormy.

A meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen that the sunny weekend will be followed on Monday by thick clouds and a few rain showers.

In the mountains it could snow on Monday morning and Tuesday night.

In large parts of the country, however, temperatures remain positive even at night.

On Monday there can be up to eight degrees during the day and up to nine degrees on Tuesday.
