Furtwangen (dpa / lsw) - A several hundred year old Black Forest house burned down in Furtwangen (Schwarzwald-Baar district).
The damage was around 400,000 euros, the police said on Sunday.
For an initially unknown cause, there was initially a lot of smoke in the house on Saturday afternoon.
The residents left the building, and shortly afterwards the wooden house burned abundantly.
Firefighters could not prevent the building from burning down.
There were no injuries.
