A drone struck an oil port on Sunday and a ballistic missile targeted facilities at energy giant Aramco in eastern Saudi Arabia, the Saudi energy ministry said.

"One of the parks of the oil tanks of the port of Ras Tanoura in the eastern region (...) was attacked this morning by a drone coming from the sea," the ministry said in a statement.

Later Sunday, "shrapnel from a ballistic missile fell near the residential area of ​​Saudi Aramco in the city of Dahran," he said without reporting a victim.
