It was the assistant nurse Maria Mårtensson Almén who got the idea after she heard the song "Rena rama ding dong" at the Melodifestivalen.

She and her colleagues wanted to do something fun with the residents.

- It started with me getting the idea that we would do something fun with the Jerusalem song that everyone has shared, but then when Eva Rydberg and Ewa Roos were on TV, they felt that this is a song that will go home with everyone, says Maria Mårtensson Almén, assistant nurse at Österbo.

Positive reactions

Reactions flowed into the accommodation after Eva Rydberg and her son Kalle Rydberg shared the clip on their social media.

- It was great fun that the clip went viral, we had not expected this at all.

We did this as a fun thing and it has been great fun to read all the comments, says Maria Mårtensson Almén.

- It has been especially fun for the relatives in these times when they can not come here and visit in the same way.

Now they can follow their relatives' everyday life, there are very positive reactions from all relatives, says Maria Mårtensson Almén.

Hope for a nice visit

Now both the residents and the staff want Eva Rydberg, who lives in the area, to pay a visit to the accommodation.

Of course, they will all watch the Melodifestivalen this Saturday.

- We hope that they look past here later, especially Eva Rydberg who lives nearby, says Maria Mårtensson Almén.
