The French Stadium, quickly outnumbered, nevertheless relaunched in the race for the final phase by signing an enhanced success in front of Agen (40-21), last in the standings, Saturday in Paris on the 18th day of the Top 14.

The Parisian club, which remained on three defeats, won six tries to three and temporarily returns to three points from sixth place, the last synonymous with play-offs.

Agen has still not won a game this season but the Stadistes did not have fun.

They got off to a good start by flattening twice in just twelve minutes.

But the red card received by the second line Paul Gabrillagues shortly after the quarter of an hour of play, for a dangerous tackle on Louis Gauban, slowed down the Parisian advance.

And the young three-quarter Agenais, entered in the first five minutes to replace Mathieu Lamoulie, injured, offered himself a double.

The SUA, which broke the sad record of consecutive defeats in the Top 14 by falling for the sixteenth time in as many games, on February 20 against Montpellier (39-19), hung on to try to change its destiny.

But the Parisians regained their distance just before the break thanks to a furious breakthrough from Australian hooker Tolu Latu (28-14).

Telusa Veainu hit the nail on the head after returning from the locker room.

And the Parisian bench weighed.

The French international center Jonathan Danty, shortly after coming into play, made a contribution by resisting a tackle to flatten in the left corner.

Gonzalo Quesada's men struggled to retain the offensive bonus but their defense paid off.
